A1) Yes. Once you’ve purchased the full version of the Bloc-Age, start it and select [Continue] from the main menu, or [Load] and select a game slot marked as ‘Demo’ and it will load using the full version level and update the world map to the full version world.
A2) If you had played the Bloc-Age full version, and then went back to the demo, the full version game slot will not be usable by the demo and will not be displayed.
A3) As we continue to improve and add new features to the Bloc-Age, the system requirements will increase. We have just released a major update that requires the newly updated system requirements. But all versions going forward will include options to run the Bloc-Age on older system, although it is recommended to upgrade your hardware to get the best experience possible.
A4) Due to recent downsizing and restructuring we will no longer be able to provide new updates in every language. Going forward we will only support these core languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Polish and Russian) to focus our limited manpower on providing a better more stable gaming experience. The core game as originally released will still have all languages available, but any updates will only be available in the languages listed above. If you feel that a language should be supported that is not listed, please contact us and if there is enough demand for any language it will be added.
A5) The program requires two redistributable to run: Dot Net Framework 3.5 and DirectX end-user runtimes (June 2010). We include the proper version of DirectX needed to run the program in [installation Directory]\Common\DirectX\DXSetup.exe. Both of these should be installed by Steam when you install the Bloc-Age. If both redistributable are installed, contact us and we will try and help resolve your issue. Also running BlocAge.exe from the installation directory ‘As Administrator’ may solves some startup issues.
A6) As we release new updates to the game, some level files may be improved. This message is informing you that the level that you were playing has been updated. Clicking ‘Continue’ will allow you to pick up where you saved, while clicking ‘Restart’ will restart the level using the new level build. The game should be able to use your old save game data with the new build and you should be able to finish the level after clicking “Continue’, but if we missed something and you are unable to complete the level, using [Restart] from the game menu will restart the level using the new build.
A7) Yes, we have tracked the problem down and fixed it. It affected users using Window in a language which used commas instead of decimals for number, causing some data files to load incorrectly. All data files have been fixed and should work with any language.
